Funny web series: 'DINKS' – USA TODAY

Are you a dink?
To be honest, I wasn’t familiar with the word until recently. Slang for “double income, no kids,” it refers to couples who have ample amounts of money and free time. (The word is also in the dictionary, believe it or not.)
The other day I got a heads-up from Jason Eksuzian about a web series he created called (what else?) DINKS. It follows the exploits of Bridget and Ryan, who fill their days with flash mobs, cat-grooming startups and way too many cupcakes.
The show is pretty funny and well-written. I’m embedding the first episode below, but you can watch them in any order. (Note: Some eps contain spicy language.)

New episodes of DINKS are posted weekly at For more info about the show, head to, or @DINKStv.
Incidentally, dinks are so popular now that ABC has ordered a pilot from Casey Wilson, June Diane Raphael and former Happy Endings show runner Jonathan Groff called — you guessed it — DINKS. I smell a lot more cupcakes …
